'Girly' Games
Sunday, September 14, 2008 @ 1:14 PM

School Girls have so many things to do. Learn, be there for friends, get on with family, join after-school activities (not a must, just a recommended thing to do), and sometimes get a job, as well. We really need to take a break at times and playing games is a way to relax and entertain ourselves.

So here is My Favourite List of 'Girly' Games. Which might turn out to be not so girly, after all.

Number One: Sacred. It's a hack'n'slash/roleplaying game, which can make you addicted quite easily. You don't have to think too much while playing it (good point, huh?), and you can choose between some nice characters (my favourite is the vampire lady :3). Only problem with it is the fact that it doesn't run on Vista. But! If you get a patch for it, it actually does. I figured it out lately.

Number Two: Black & White. In this game you play as a god and you get a cute pet (tamagotchi feeling here). You have to gain the worship of villages through doing godlike things, like miracles. It's not an easy game, and not even easy to play. Your creature can be either lovely (=people will like him) or evil (=people will be scared of him), and you can make him fight other god's pets. Strategy game.

Number Three: Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. You can make your own amusement park, and manage it. I normally play this in sandbox mode, so I get limitless money and thus, I can build anything I want. Never tried the scenarios, to be honest. You can hire entertainers, guards, repairmen and cleaners to keep the park in a good quality. I don't play this game often, only when I have the mood for it, but then it keeps me hooked. I suggest it for every girl out there.

Number Four: Sims (2). Who wouldn't love controlling lives of other people? The game has got great sound effects and lovely graphics, which is needed for the whole feeling - controlling your sims lifestyles and behaviour. You can create a whole family or just a single person - depends on your taste. You must keep your sims happy, and help them solve their problems, as well. The game is pretty complex.

Number Five: World of Warcraft. The most addictive game I can mention. I used to play it, too, for a while, and I actually liked it. I guess the best thing in it is playing with other gamers from different countries, making friends, and partying with them. The reason why I stopped it was that I didn't have time to keep pace with everyone about this whole leveling thing. Too much pressure from a game. So remember to live your life while playing this, ok?
