Fortune Telling and Horoscopes

Me: So, what exactly is fortune telling?
Wikipedia: Fortune-telling is the practice of predicting the future, usually of an individual, through mystical or supernatural means and often for commercial gain. It often conflates with the religious practice known as divination.
Well, thanks. So, we can count this as a hobby, right? Actually I do. Sometimes it helps a lot. Seriously. I predicted that we were going to move to a new house. And that my step-father will get ill, if we don't do anything. So he got a bit stressed because of my forecast and went to see the doctor. After that, I did fortune telling once again, and no illness cards came again. Hehe, wierd. Maybe just luck, maybe not. I'm not going to be the one to decide that.
Anyway, I bet that lots of girls like the
kinds of fortune telling! When I was in elementary school, I was slightly addicted with reading my daily horoscope. Even now I check it every once in a while, but I don't think it will do miracles. However, sometimes it's a good laugh. I normally read my and my sister's horoscopes aloud at night, and there is always so much love involed in mine. "You shouldn't hurt your partner today, or things may get rather rough". Fine with me. I'm single. ;P
I guess that's why they made singles and couples horoscopes. Creative, I say. Nowadays the only place where I read them is
CosmoGirl. I don't know who writes the horoscopes there, but the person is definitely talented. Well, mine often comes true and says clever things.
Be aware of the fact that most of these fortune tellings are fake. These people tell you what you want to here at most times, and it's rather unusual to meet someone who has got reliable abilities.
