Become More Healthy (For Your Own Good)

I've recently realized what a couch potato I am. Okay, I go to marathons, but I'm definitely not fit. I used to swim a lot, but I stopped when we moved. And now I'm a big fan of floorball, but I don't feel good enough to join a team (unfortunately there aren't any floorball extra lessons at my school). So, I decided to become more healthy! Yup. How exactly? I'm going to do aerobics, have dance class every week, swim, and start running as soon as the weather changes. But are sports the only way to keep fit and healthy?
Not really. There are many other ways, too. For example,
drink a lot of water. Seriously, a LOT. Keeping your body hydrated is important.
Try to avoid junk food, and befriend fruits and vegetables. (I know, junk food is sometimes unavoidable. It's just tasty. You don't need to erase it from your life, just be more careful with it, okay?)
Eat breakfast every day. It is the most important meal of the day, because your body gains the first 'dose' of energy from it. And without energy, you are as good as nothing.
For rainy days activities like dance dance revolution, aerobics, ice skating or swimming (indoor pools for the win) are recommended. By the way, you can count shopping as a healthy activity, as well. After all, running around the mall is like running laps.
Hope this helped a bit. Get a personal trainer if you are seriously lost and don't know where to start (not even after reading my helpful, creative and interesting post).
