Daily Routine of School Girls
Saturday, September 20, 2008 @ 11:28 AM

I didn't really know what should my next post be about, so I decided to think about the things I do at school, how I manage balancing school, friends, family, and hobbies, and what problems occur during my daily routine. I realized that knowing actually what a good daily routine is, is a great benefit. At first, I didn't even have one, which fit my lifestyle, but later I managed to organize a pretty smart one.

So, if you don't have yours yet, or you are often late to school, I suggest you take a look at mine (and decide if you can to cope with it)?

1. I do my homework an hour after I get home, because everyone needs some break after they have been learning for 9 hours (or more). I start with either the easiest or the hardest, depending on my mood, but doing the hardest ones is always better. Later you'll be more tired and won't understand a thing from it.

2. Make lunch for yourself (if your parents don't do it for you), and place it in the fridge. You won't have to spend time with it in the morning, thus, you'll save a lot of time.

3. I place every book and notebook into my school bag which I will need the next day. I always check everything twice, because I tend to be absentminded - or just too tired.

4. I put my bag next to my door, so I can grab it easily when I'm in a hurry (or not).

5. Have dinner, and shower? You know, these things are important, too.

6. Get at least 8 hours of sleep. It helps a lot.

7. I set my alarm clock, so I won't be late. I guess, you can also ask your parents to wake you up - it feels better. Can't explain.

8. Have breakfast. I already wrote in one of the posts that this is the first meal of the day and it gives you energy, so it's a must.

9. Wash your face, brush your teeth, do your hair, put on make-up (put on the "harder" stuff first, which you can't really do on the bus, for example eyeshadow or eyeliner - lipgloss can wait). Use deodorant, too. If you straighten or curl you hair with iron, put your lunchbox into your bag while it warms up.

Additional tips:
- This routine takes at least 30 minutes. Keep that in mind.
- I often listen to music, while I get dressed. It's really refeshing.
- Carry chewing gum with you. Pretty useful.
- Bring drink with you, too, and drink often. "Keeping your body hydrated is important."
